Ahlan Wa sahlan! Or greetings to all!

When I first started, we began just as a stall and was the landlord for 3 other stalls in Al Majlis at 39 Arab Street. That was in July 2001 after the then Minister for Community Development & Sports, Associate Professor Yaacob Ibrahim officially opening our foodcourt. Within the first year, we took over one other stall for expansion and by 2003, we have taken over the operations of the whole café.

Café Le Caire is more than just a restaurant. It is an Arabic cultural hub with its restaurant complex stretching over 33, 37, 39 and 42 Arab Street as well as 4, 6 and 8 Haji Lane.

We were the pioneer in rejuvenating nightlife to Kg. Gelam. When the foodcourt first operated in 2001, it was the only establishment in Kg. Gelam to open at night and on Sundays. Since then, we have introduced a new lifestyle concept in Singapore and have been influential in promoting genuine Middle East Arabic culture in general.

Café Le Caire International offers some of the widest range of exotic Arab teas, coffee and other beverages. I extend my personal invitation to you to come and dine with your family and friends at our Café.

At Café Le Caire, you will not be just our customer, you’ll be our Friend.

At Café Le Caire, we Care for you.

Al salama!
